Three people died of poisoning in the Macanga district of Tete province, in Mozambique. The victims, a 35-year-old mother and her two young children aged 10 and 13 had eaten spaghetti poisoned, apparently by her husband.
After eating the meal, the victims died at home before being taken to hospital. The toxic substance was not specified by the authorities. The 51-year-old suspect was arrested and is being investigated by the Republic of Mozambique Police in Tete.
