In three days, three members of Mozambique’s largest opposition party have been murdered, while the discovery of a mass grave with eight bodies has become known, thus increasing the number of Podemos (Optimist Party for the Development of Mozambique) politicians killed since the October 9 elections.
In Cabo Delgado, a mass grave was discovered with eight bodies of Podemos members. The grave was found by chance when someone was at the cemetery to bury a relative and the bodies were exhumed. This case was also mentioned by Venâncio Mondlane in one of his last lives (on his social networks), which states that there were “eight young people” who “were shot” after being “kidnapped from their homes” in Massanga.
