The owner of the ‘Bazar Central’ crockery store was kidnapped this Saturday (February 1) afternoon on Karl Max Avenue, in Maputo city, Mozambique. He was snatched by four unidentified individuals who were transported in a light vehicle, according to witnesses at the scene.
The victim was accompanied by his mother, who had to be taken to hospital. Witnesses told the press that they had attempted to help the victim, but were deterred by the gunshots fired by the kidnappers.
