The presence of alleged terrorists in four communities in the district of Ancuabe, in the Mozambican province of Cabo Delgado, is generating a climate of panic among residents, as reported by local sources to the Lusa news agency.
The Ancuabe district has already suffered violent attacks, with the last major attack attributed to the alleged terrorists taking place on November 17, 2024, in the village of Nacuale, just over 20 kilometers from the town, where at least 15 people lost their lives.
