Entrepreneurs in Mozambique are calling for a working group to be set up, made up of operators, the government, and the private sector, to design specific projects that can be implemented by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the context of gas exploration through the Coral Norte platform.
The project is led by the Italian oil company ENI East Africa S.P.A., one of the largest investors in the country’s hydrocarbon sector, in partnership with the American Exxon Mobil and the Chinese CNPC, with 70 percent of the shareholder structure of Mozambique Rovuma Venture (MRV) and ENH, GALP, and KOGAS, with 10 percent each.
