A small area located in the Niassa Special Reserve, in northern Mozambique, was raided by a group of terrorists, who captured several workers from the area. The local authorities and the Minister of Defense confirmed the attack.
According to an RFI report, despite the seriousness of the situation, there have been no fatalities so far. The Minister of Defense, Cristóvão Chume, assured that the attack’s perpetrators are being pursued, promising results in the coming days. “They are terrorists, and we are after them. We are on the ground,” said Chume.
