An important vaccination campaign against measles and rubella has begun in the southern region of Mozambique, which will cover just over a million children aged between nine months and five years, in all the districts of the city and the provinces of Maputo and Gaza.
Around 13,000 professionals are involved in this campaign, including mobilizers, vaccinators and registrars. The vaccination teams will be distributed not only in health units, but also in places with a high concentration of people, such as markets, transport stops and churches.
