Over the last 12 years, the United States has provided more than 70 million dollars (61 million euros) for school feeding projects in two districts of Nampula, northern Mozambique.
Other key achievements include six water supply systems built, 20 latrines and 15 boreholes in schools were rehabilitated, 91,965 children were dewormed in all the educational institutions supported, as well as the distribution of 1.72 metric tons of fortified corn and soy flour to 6,172 pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under 5, according to the document.
