The President of Mozambique, Daniel Chapo, reaffirmed his commitment to national unity and reconciliation as fundamental elements for the country’s development. The Head of State was speaking on Tuesday (May 20) evening, in Maputo city, after a meeting he had with the candidate for the 2024 presidential elections, Venâncio Mondlane.
The conversation between the Head of State and Venâncio Mondlane focused on the importance of inclusive dialogue for strengthening democracy and the country’s development. On the occasion, Venâncio Mondlane expressed openness to dialogue and presented proposals to boost the country’s progress.
