The Maputo City Public Prosecutor’s Office has issued a formal summons to the Director General of the National Institute for Cultural and Creative Industries (INICC), instructing that entity to refrain from authorizing shows on Children’s Day with content intended for people over 18 years of age.
In recent years, there have been shows alluding to Children’s Day in which some music professionals perform songs with inappropriate messages for children. The Public Prosecutor’s Office has banned the holding of shows in which musicians perform songs with choreography of a pornographic or promiscuous nature.
