Rejection of vaccination in some districts threatens the immunization targets of more than 680,000 children against polio in Gaza. To reverse the situation, the health sector is promoting awareness and community dialogue with more than 87 families.
The Governor of Gaza, Margarida Mapandzene, said that vaccination awareness is being raised so that families and communities know the benefits of vaccination and respect the vaccination schedule.
