A group of more than 10 terrorists attacked the village of Ntotwe, 20 kilometers from the town of Mocímboa da Praia, in the north of Cabo Delgado province, in the early hours of Saturday (May 3) morning, kidnapping a 14-year-old girl and looting several stores.
Saturday’s attack is the second carried out by terrorists in the village in the space of a month. On April 7, the village was attacked and looted and a local elementary school teacher was killed.
