Former presidential candidate Venâncio Mondlane asked this Tuesday (May 27), during the Oslo Freedom Forum in Norway, for international support for the Anamalala party, a political force he founded and which is waiting to be legalized by the Mozambican courts.
Mondlane, who led the biggest challenge to the electoral results in Mozambique since the first multiparty elections (1994), went ahead with the formation of the National Alliance for a Free and Autonomous Mozambique (Anamalala) party on April 3 this year, according to a request submitted to the Ministry of Justice in Maputo by his advisor.
