The Bank of Mozambique has reduced the monetary policy interest rate (MIMO) from 11.75% to 11%.
This measure results from the consolidation of the outlook for single-digit inflation in the medium term, partly reflecting the favorable trend in international prices for goods and services. The governor of the Bank of Mozambique, Rogério Zandamela, who shared the information, said that the inflation outlook remains in single digits in the medium term.
