The President of Mozambique, Daniel Chapo, called for reflection on the challenges affecting millions of children, including early unions, violence, and malnutrition, stressing the importance of child protection.
President Chapo highlighted the “essential role of children in building the future of Mozambique” and reaffirmed the government’s “commitment to guaranteeing their rights, promoting an environment of protection, health, education and well-being for all girls and boys in the country”.
