Mozambique wants to be an example in terms of green finance in southern Africa, which implies sustainable management of its natural resources, said President Chapo during the fourth UN International Conference on Financing for Development in Seville, Spain, which brings together more than 60 world leaders.
“We are implementing a national climate investment strategy to make Mozambique an example of green finance by 2035. We welcome this conference’s emphasis on innovative instruments such as blended finance and underline the urgent need for investment in industrialization, including small and medium-sized enterprises,” said President Daniel Chapo.
