The Office for Combating Corruption at the Cabo Delgado Provincial Prosecutor’s Office denounced this Tuesday (8 July) the alarming increase in systematic bribery schemes in the health and education sectors, where citizens are forced to pay to access public jobs.
The alert was made by Amilton Menete, head of the office. Amilton also warned that this type of corruption blocks fair access to public employment, especially harming young people and low-income citizens, who are excluded from the system because they are unable to pay the required amounts.
