Mozambique currently has a cumulative total of 16 active cases of Mpox in the provinces of Niassa, Manica, and Maputo (north, center, and south), with 22 patients having recovered.
Regarding the availability of vaccines against Mpox, a representative from the Ministry of Health said that Mozambique is awaiting the World Health Organization’s (WHO) response to its request.
