The number of positive cases of mpox in Mozambique has risen to 66, with one more case reported in the last 24 hours in Manica, in the center of the country, bringing the total number of suspected cases to 810.
The first case of mpox in Mozambique occurred in October 2022, with one patient in Maputo. Mozambique now has the capacity to test in all provincial capitals through public health laboratories, he said.
