The National Institute for Disaster Management and Risk Reduction (INGD) announced on Thursday (28) the start of preparations for the upcoming rainy season, which includes the drafting of a new National Contingency Plan. This document will pay special attention to island regions and the growing number of internally displaced persons in the country.
