The district of Nhamatanda, in Sofala province, is seeing a significant increase in cases of domestic violence against minors. According to the data, 31 cases were reported this year, 18 criminal and 13 civil, compared to 29 in the same period in 2024, representing an increase of 6.9 percent.
To combat this phenomenon, there is a need to raise awareness among communities about defending children’s rights and reporting cases of domestic violence against minors.
