Save The Children intends to invest 70.4 million euros to support three million Mozambicans, more than half of them children, in the 2025-2027 strategy. The “ambitious plan”, launched in the Mozambican capital Maputo, aims to strengthen children’s rights in Mozambique and promote change in the areas of child protection, inclusive education, climate resilience, and gender equality.
The new Strategy 2025-2027 plans to support at least 2.1 million children, focusing on five main objectives, among which are expanding access to safe and inclusive education, strengthening protection against violence, abuse, and child marriage, as well as expanding children’s rights and civic participation.
