The cut in US funding for health and humanitarian aid programs in Mozambique has led to the closure of nine organizations working to combat malaria and the discontinuation of 50 programs aimed at fighting the disease. This was announced by the Platform of Civil Society Organizations, which works to combat malaria.
The impacts of the US decision have already been felt, especially in the health sector in Mozambique, reveals the Platform. The future could therefore be bleaker.
