Mozambique vaccinated 92% of the 18 million children expected to be vaccinated in the polio campaign held in June 2025, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) estimates.
For UNICEF, the first vaccination round demonstrated the power of coordination and trust in communities. A second round of vaccination is scheduled to begin on July 8, it said.
