The Councillor for Health and Quality of Life, Alice de Abreu, called on parents and guardians to ensure that all children under the age of 10 are vaccinated in the second round of the polio vaccination campaign in Mozambique.
The vaccine will be administered until July 12, and the City Council plans to vaccinate more than 500,000 children. It will involve around 2,100 people, 877 of whom are health professionals, and the rest will be community mobilizers and other local agents.
