Mozambique approves 17 million euros loan from Arab bank to build hospitals

The Mozambican government today ratified the agreement for a 17 million euro loan from the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa to build hospitals in Niassa province, in northern Mozambique.

The communiqué from the Council of Ministers meeting held today states that Mozambique and the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) signed an agreement on April 29 of last year to finance the project to build and equip the district hospitals of Mecanhelas and Ngauma, in Niassa province, for an amount of 20 million dollars (17 million euros).
