The Government of Mozambique, through the National Institute for Disaster Management and Risk Reduction (INGD), has renewed its commitment to strengthening the national response to extreme weather events, emphasizing the need for greater resilience and coordinated action between different sectors and partners.
Among the conclusions, the need to explore innovative ways of capitalizing the Disaster Management Fund and resuming the training of state officials in matters related to disaster risk reduction stood out.
