Health authorities in Mozambique have reported that the country has a total of 57 patients who have recovered from monkeypox, known as Mpox. There are currently 25 active cases being monitored in the provinces of Niassa, Tete, Manica, Cabo Delgado, and Maputo.
From July 11 to September 25, Mozambique recorded a cumulative total of 1,522 suspected cases, with 1,380 tests performed, 82 of which were positive for monkeypox. To date, there have been no deaths associated with the disease, with the fatality rate remaining at zero percent.
