According to a statement issued this Thursday by the Presidency of the Republic, in his first presidential decree, Daniel Chapo ordered the extinction of the Ministries of Economy and Finance, Transport and Communications, Culture and Tourism, Agriculture and Rural Development, Land, Environment, Sea, Inland Waters and Fisheries, Industry and Commerce, Labor and Social Security, Education and Human Development and Technology and Higher Education.
The head of state created new Ministries: (1) Ministry of Finance, (2) Ministry of Economy, (3) Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Fisheries, (4) Ministry of Transport and Logistics, (5) Ministry of Education and Culture, (6) Ministry of Labor, Gender and Social Action, (7) Ministry of Communications and Digital Transformation, (8) Ministry of Planning and Development, and (8) Ministry of Youth and Sports.
