300,000 affected by cyclone Dikeledi need urgent support in Mozambique

Around three hundred thousand people, corresponding to 80,780 families affected by cyclone Dikeledi in the coastal districts of Nampula province, need urgent humanitarian assistance.

So far, the National Institute for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (INGD) and its partners have assisted 121,380 people – 34,606 families. The districts of Mossuril, Ilha de Moçambique, Mogincual, Monapo, Nacala Porto, Memba, Angoche, Ribáuê, Mecubúri, Lalaua, Eráti, Memba, Malema and Nampula are the worst affected.
