The Northern Integrated Development Agency (ADIN) is awaiting a statement from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) on whether or not new funding will continue for projects in Mozambique under the Reconstruction and Resilience Plan in the northern province of Cabo Delgado, as well as in the country in general.
USAID is funding the Northern Resilience and Integrated Development Program with more than 400 million dollars, and a probable withdrawal of this support will negatively impact the region. The government of Mozambique will count on USAID’s support until it says otherwise because it is indeed an extremely important partner for development
