The districts of Chicualacuala, Mapai, Chókwè, Guijá, and Chibuto, in Gaza province, could be affected by flooding in the coming week. The fourth wave of flooding is due to the overflow of the Limpopo River caused by water from upstream countries.
The director of the Limpopo Basin Management Unit, Ivan Cuna, says that the situation will result in the isolation of some communities, the destruction of agricultural fields, and the interruption of traffic.
