The President of Mozambique, Daniel Chapo, launched the Internet for All by 2030 Project to guarantee free internet access for the entire population by the end of the decade.
The project foresees the installation of free internet in 310 public schools, with 100 schools benefiting in the first 100 days of his mandate. “It is our intention as a government to offer free internet to our population,” said President Chapo, stressing that internet access will be vital to reducing the digital divide and creating a generation that is better able to face the challenges of the future.
