The President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo, says that the country will invest in improving the operating conditions of ports, airports, railways, and roads, increasing the supply of water, electricity, and telecommunications, convinced that the diversification of the economy is the preferred and safe path for the country’s inclusive economic and social growth.
The President believes that the awarding of the Nacala Integrated Logistics Corridor Project to international consortia sends out a signal that the government is really giving the private sector the viability and importance it deserves, reserving to the executive the role of regulating the market and creating a business environment that is favorable to free enterprise.
