On April 30, the Niassa Special Reserve in northern Mozambique was the scene of a terrorist attack that resulted in the beheading of two people and the destruction of several items of property, including vehicles.
This is already the second attack carried out by the terrorist group in this natural resource conservation area, which has created a climate of panic among the local population, tourist operators, and other stakeholders.
