The Internal Displacement Monitoring Center revealed that the number of displaced people in Mozambique exceeded 718,000 at the end of last year.
According to the report, in Cabo Delgado province, 240,000 people were displaced during 2024 by conflict and violence and 585,000 by natural disasters, including 536,000 due to cyclone Chido.
