A study presented on Wednesday, April 9th, in Maputo indicates that journalists generally experience a strong sense of insecurity when they embrace investigative journalism in Mozambique. The report is the result of work by three researchers: Luca Bussotti, Armando Nhantumbo, and Laura Nhauleque.
One aspect of the research considered a priority was the role of women in journalism, especially investigative journalism. The results obtained identified two main sources of insecurity felt by professionals in the field: political power and economic power.
